About Me
I am a proud graduate of Duke University, earning my degrees in 2020 and 2021. My journey at Duke was defined by my passion for sports, particularly softball, where I had the honor of playing for Duke's inaugural team. In the summer of 2018, I had to opportunity to compete for the USA Women's Baseball Team as a part of their Trials Roster. It reignited my love and passion for baseball - my first true love. Entering my senior year, I began to explore my talent for storytelling, documenting my experiences through short-form content. During my time at Duke, my storytelling efforts garnered significant attention, accumulating over 8 million views within just two months (TikTok & YouTube). However, my athletic career was abruptly halted by an ACL injury. Despite this setback, I embraced a new adventure in global travel guiding. This role took me to incredible destinations around the world, including Argentina, Chile, Germany, France, Croatia, and Switzerland. In the spring of 2023, I discovered a love for sports through a new lens: as a color commentator for college softball. This opportunity reignited my passion for the game and sparked a deep interest in media. With successful stints calling games for Duke, Virginia Tech, and East Carolina University on platforms like ACCN Extra and ESPN+, I caught the attention of ESPN. They offered me the incredible opportunity to be part of the broadcast team for the NCAA Softball Regionals, marking my debut on linear networks. Since then, I have continued to evolve in the media landscape, returning for the '24 season with a slate of linear games and launching a podcast titled "Softball Speakeasy" alongside current Duke Softball Player, Kelly Torres. While I am relatively new to the world of media, I am excited to embrace the journey of growth as a storyteller and broadcaster. In 2024, I was afforded the opportunity to serve as a baseball analyst for a top-10 matchup between Duke and Florida State Baseball. My passion for baseball is unwavering and I cannot wait to cover more games. |
